Hey B.F.F. sisters! Happy National Women's History Month!
I am grateful today that I am a woman! A phenomenal woman, I'm thankful that God knew me before he formed me in the womb. Still, to this day, he knows everything about me from every single strand of hair on my head to my beautiful toes. He knew that I'd be an amazing woman one day who was handpicked and designed by him.
What a beautiful thing it is to be a woman! As Maya Angelou would say a phenomenal woman. "It's in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
So today, I want to talk to you about the power we as women have. It is an unspoken superpower that lies innately within us. We have the ability to birth life, mother, and nurture, which doesn't even include half of the other hats we also wear as wives, daughters, sisters, and so much more. We are not just one woman; we are what Chaka Khan's famous song would say: I'm every woman, it's all in me. We all have the power to choose what we accept and the way we allow others to treat us. We hold some of the greatest power in humanity. So again, I will reiterate what I've stated before in some of our previous posts; you have to know who you are and whose you are. Many women before us have paved the way and changed the course of history for us through their strength, intelligence, and resilience to never give up.
Today walk-in all God has called you to be. Don't downplay who you are for anyone, and you must learn to love every part of yourself. Embrace all that you have to offer to this world and those around you.
This month we encourage you to join us on this 14 day devotional. The Manifesto- An Anthem for Women on a Mission
Love you all and until next time with Love, Grace and a Happy Face
